Reports gives you the full picture before you take a position. Compass tells you what changed about the position you already own.
What each brief covers.
Each Compass brief is the synthesis of seven specialized analyzers. Each one reads the latest data through a single lens, then hands its conclusion to the synthesizer.
What a brief contains.
Every Active and Monitor stock gets one of these each week. A conviction score, a synthesis you can read in thirty seconds, and the evidence underneath it, traced to source.
An exceptional business at a demanding price. Shares sit at the 88th percentile of our DCF distribution; the median is $353. Elite fundamentals, no margin of safety at current levels.
- Q4 earnings July 22: does capex start converting to revenue?
- Executive cluster sale: one-off diversification or a pattern?
Sample brief. Scores and evidence traced to source. Educational research, not investment advice.
- 01
Conviction · 0 to 10
The synthesizer's confidence in its own thesis, tracked week over week. Every score is calibrated after the fact: predictions are checked against what actually happened at 30, 90, and 180 days.
- 02
The synthesis
One paragraph that reconciles all seven analyzer signals, the red-team flags, and the debate verdict. Every number in it comes from the data pipeline, never from the model's memory.
- 03
Signal rows
Each analyzer's read on the week (fundamental, valuation, smart money, narrative, macro, technical, catalyst) with the analyzer's own self-reported confidence beside it.
- 04
Watch items
The specific, checkable questions for the weeks ahead: an earnings date, a margin level, an insider-activity pattern. Facts to verify, not actions to take.
- 05
Source chips
Where the evidence came from: SEC EDGAR filings, FMP fundamentals, Polygon prices, the DCF Monte Carlo. Every claim in the brief traces back to one of these.
The scoring rules, the debate format, and the calibration loop are documented in full: read the methodology.
Research is the start. Anchor is the decision.
Compass tells you what changed on your watchlist. Anchor goes further: it scores every idea 0-100, surfaces the few worth a deep brief, and turns each one into a conviction-rated call with a target, a thesis, and a plan. The radar-to-decision loop, closed.
Compass hunts for what should be on your watchlist.
Your watchlist is a snapshot of what you already know. The scan above shows how Anchor works the other direction: every week it sweeps a wide field of names (earnings surprises, filing language, insider activity, government contract flow) and condenses what it finds into a handful of named, evidence-scored themes.
Each theme arrives with a 0-10 score and the tickers that anchor it, so you can see why a cluster surfaced before you spend a minute on it. The strongest candidates are queued for a full Compass deep brief automatically. The discovery radar feeds the research engine without a human picking names by hand.
The animation is an illustrative scan: example themes, not this week's output. What Anchor produces is always themes with evidence, never stock recommendations.
Scored, not summarized
Every name on your radar ranked 0-100 across fundamentals, valuation, smart-money flows, government spending, and catalysts, so the few that matter rise to the top.
Conviction, not commentary
Each idea worth a deep brief becomes a conviction-rated call (1-10) with a fair-value target band and a written thesis: a decision, not just a description.
Positions & thesis tracking
Anchor opens a position, tracks the thesis you bought, and tells you the moment a claim breaks, so you exit on logic, not on a gut feeling.
Closes the loop
It even decides which stocks earn a brief, ranked off the live radar, so you stop picking what to research by hand. Radar → decision, automated.
We put our research where our mouth is. Anchor now paper-trades its own research, every decision scored against reality, after real-world costs. Live track record coming soon.
Anchor is in early access.
